Dhulikhel Hospital

Dhulikhel Hospital, a non-profit in Nepal, provides quality healthcare to over 2.5 million people. With a vision of "quality health care for all" and a mission focused on healthcare, training, research, and community development, it also serves as a university hospital for Kathmandu University.

Dhulikhel Hospital is an independent, not-for-profit healthcare institution established in 1996 as a collaborative effort between the Dhulikhel community, NepaliMed International, and the Dhulikhel Health Service Association. Located 30 km northeast of Kathmandu, the hospital serves approximately 2.5 million people across Kavre and surrounding districts. Its mission encompasses high-quality healthcare, training, research, and community-based programs. With 18 outreach centers, including a 50-bed facility in Dolakha, Dhulikhel Hospital ensures access to both primary and specialized services. As a teaching hospital for Kathmandu University’s medical programs, the hospital is committed to its vision of "quality health care for all," providing cost-effective, compassionate care rooted in social equity and sustainability.
